Leandro Trossard Drops Big Hint on His Arsenal Future
Leandro Trossard has made it crystal clear; he wants to stay at Arsenal.
The Belgian winger, who’s become a fan favourite under Mikel Arteta, was handed a pay rise earlier this season after his impressive form, but his contract still only runs for another two years. Now, Trossard’s gone public with his desire to stick around for much longer.
Speaking to The Sun, he said:
“I still have two years left and then we will see what the club wants as well, where do they see me, where I am at that point. But I’m loving life at Arsenal, I’m really happy to be here. It’s such a great club, obviously we’re in a good moment and I hope I can win things with Arsenal.”
Trossard’s message couldn’t be clearer, he’s loving life in North London and wants to be part of Arsenal’s push for silverware.
Since joining from Brighton, the 29-year-old has been a constant spark for the Gunners, scoring, creating, and delivering whenever Arteta calls on him. His work rate, creativity, and versatility have made him one of the most trusted men in Arsenal’s squad.
Talks over a new deal haven’t started yet, but with his current form and commitment, it’s hard to see Arsenal letting him go. One thing’s certain, Trossard’s heart is red and white.
